i somehow seem to have forgotten that i still have one essay due. therefore, it is now miller crunch time at SiN headquarters! updates resume wednesday thursday!

so this past week, i had an epiphany; the way i’ve been drawing these pages is incredibly inefficient, tedious, and unfun. the way it used to work was i’d sketch a page in flash, overlay it in virtual ink, and then overlay that in text.

i’ve since decided to streamline the process; instead of printing each page as a seperate, self-contained construct, i’ve begun doing sketches in batches of five, with the dialogue pre-overlaid to get a better feel for the flow and construction of the story. hopefully, i’ll start posting actual pages again, in between writing a zillion essays and trying not to remember a lot of chinese.
